Northeast Regional Sales Manager – Resinous Flooring
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing the floor coatings division market presence in the Northeast. Through the sales process, identify the customer’s needs and develop solutions to profitably increase sales revenue.
- Provide technical support for existing coating products and customers in the Northeast region. Products are sold through various market channels including distributors and direct to contractors.
- Develop technical expertise in products, processes, and applications to identify and develop new markets for both existing and new products.
- Utilize Outlook and internal CRM platform to accurately manage and document customer meetings, communications, sales as well as new prospects / leads.
- Responsible for assisting marketing team, including but not limited to, advertising, trade shows, product literature and brochures.
- Meet and/or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work with R&D lab in the development of new products.
- Assist operations team to effectively manage and maintain product inventory levels.
- 25% expense-paid overnight travel expectation.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, 5-10 years of successful development and marketing of coating materials. Three to five years of technical support in the floor coatings market. Knowledge of epoxy and polyaspartic coating products.
- Preferred: 10+ years of demonstrated success in the commercialization of coatings products.
Salary:
- $75,000 – $85,000 plus commission

Research and Development Intern (Summer 2024)
The Research and Development Intern will participate in a variety of day-to-day projects that will assist our Research and Development team and report directly to the Vice President- Research and Development.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist the Research and Development team with the preparation, development and testing of novel and existing products
- Work with staff to organize, prioritize and complete sample requests received from the sales team
- Ensure that all documentation (Label, Safety Data Sheet, Technical Bulletin, etc.) is available for inclusion with sample shipments
- Organize raw material sample stocks from suppliers, identifying expired and discontinued laboratory raw materials for disposal
- Document, interpret and accurately record product formulations for inclusion in laboratory archives
- Participate in collaborative meetings to obtain a wider perspective on the development process of polyurethane adhesives, elastomers and foam systems
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Prior laboratory experience in general chemistry and/or organic chemistry preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Education and Experience:
- Current student in a four-year degree program (Engineering, Data Science, Chemistry, Product Design, or equivalent) OR Current student in a graduate-level program (Optometry, Chemistry, Engineering, Data Science, Product Design, or equivalent).
- This is paid internship $22-$24/hour
