Did you know you can splice together sections of pre-formed foam while in the field?

In the factory-fabrication of our Ply-Seal® pre-formed foam we use a heating iron when splicing together sections of the. This method can also be duplicated in the field, with a Teflon covered heating iron or water stop iron. This is the only method we recommend for joining/splicing sections of the pre-formed foam together in extended lengths. This, along with other methods, are shown in the video for making angle cuts and transitions in horizontal to vertical applications.
