Polyset is proud to be participating in Safe + Sound Week 2024. The week-long event kicked off Monday with our staff participating in a safety pledge followed by CPR, AED, and First Aid training. Later this week, we will compete in a “Safest and Cleanest Workspace” challenge.
“We’re excited to again be taking part in this year’s Safe + Sound Week”, says Polyset’s Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, Lyndsey Wanits. “Programs like this can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness, improves sustainability and the bottom line.”
Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event held each August that recognizes the successes of workplace health and safety programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe. This year Safe + Sound Week will provide resources for businesses on Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
Last year’s Safe + Sound Week reached over 400,000 individual workers from over 3,900 companies nationwide.
