Whether the application is for dust collectors or automotive engines, Polyset custom formulates high performing polyurethane adhesives, elastomers (end caps) and foams for all different types of industrial air filter applications.
Our polyurethane materials are available in soft to rigid durometers, low viscosity to thixotropic, high temperature resistance, high tear strength and have excellent adhesion to a variety of different substrates and filter medias. Several of our customers manufacture HEPA filters for the nuclear, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries. Our polyurethane materials offer many processing and performance benefits for HEPA’s including flow-through characteristics, flame retardancy, FDA compliance, ultra low-outgassing and superior adhesion.
Polyset also manufactures polyurethane adhesives that possess excellent chemical resistance and temperature resistance to gasoline and hydraulic fluids for Oil/Gas filter applications, end caps that have superior chlorine and mildew/mold growth resistance for Pool/Spa filters, and adhesives formulated with NSF-approved raw materials and that have exceptional hydrolysis resistance for Reverse Osmosis/Ultrafiltration applications.
